Sometimes, a challenge has variants - home, gym, beginner, intermediate, advanced, and all sorts of other combinations. How can you know which one is best for you?
Beginner plans are for those new to the gym. If you’ve never trained before, or you have but are not confident with training, then select a beginner plan. They’re perfect to get you up and running and consistent with training without stretching you too far. Ideally for those with <6 months experience at the gym. Alternatively, you are an intermediate lifter but are coming back to training after a long time.
Intermediate plans are for those who are comfortable at the gym, who want to push themselves a bit more. You have over 6 months experience and don’t feel like the gym is a ‘daunting’ place anymore. You want to push yourself past a basic level. Alternatively, you are an advanced lifter but are coming back after a long break.
Advanced plans are for those who are very comfortable at the gym, have been pushing themselves for a while, have their schedule dialled in and want to take things to the next level. If you’re an intermediate lifter and would like to challenge yourself and see if you’ve got what it takes to get to the next level, this is also for you!
But remember, always push yourself safely and don’t overtrain.
